FAQ
Which side of the double-sided leather strop should I use?
The smooth side is best for final polishing and refining the edge, especially for low-angle edges such as straight razors. The
suede side is better for initial stropping of beveled edges, light edge correction, and preparing the edge before final polishing.
Should I use the suede side first or the smooth side first?
Many users start with the suede side for initial stropping and then finish with the smooth side for polishing. However, the best choice depends on the blade condition, desired sharpness, and personal preference.
